I had thought that I seemed to be slipping behind with this year long project, but I actually managed a further nine thank you letters over the last quarter, just one less that in the second quarter.
As in the previous two quarters, the majority were delivered by the Royal Mail. Two were delivered by hand. The furthest one went was to California.
I wrote three letters to family members after our wonderful long weekend in Luxembourg.
I wrote to a cousin I don’t see or talk to very often.
I wrote to the friend who invited me to Wimbledon.
I wrote to the bride and groom.
I wrote to the friend who facilitated my visit to Christian Dior: Designer of Dreams.
I wrote a letter to a friend of mum’s.
I wrote a letter to Helen Hoang, which felt a little, well, odd. But I did it anyway. 🙂
You’re doing so well with this year long project. Don’t feel weird about writing to the author – my friend is an author and she loves it when someone contacts her to say how one of her books has touched their lives.

Thanks for that … I have two more authors lined up!

CLAP CLAP CLAP – well done you. I think I’ll incorporate something similar during this month of Thanksgiving, which can help me with the abundance of cards I’ve made of late.

Thank you! A 31 day project must be more manageable, I should think. Let me know how you get on.

What an interesting mix of letters! I like that you wrote the author – how FUN!
I recently visited an exhibit called Dior: Paris to the World as an Inspiration Outing – so similar to the one you visited.

Yes, I think the Dior exhibitions would have been very similar.
