TGIF With a Difference #6

The lovely Mary-Lou of Patio Postcards blog pointed me recently in the direction of Brené Brown‘s new weekly gratitude practice, TGIF. Most of us would recognise TGIF as an acronym for Thank God It’s Friday, but in Brené’s world it stands for Trusting, Grateful, Inspired and Fun.

Thankful: for the countryside that is so easily accessible from West London.

Grateful: to be given such a gift.

Inspired: to learn something new every day in September.

Fun: was had at our second wedding of the Summer.

Those poppies are certainly a gift from Mother Nature. Umm yes back to school with learning something new in September – I like it. Happy long weekend.

Learn Something New was the first Shimelle class that I took! Gosh, that was some years ago now!
That is a wonderful photo of the poppies – you have a real talent for taking a good picture.
