When I last visited New York City’s Central Park, there was snow on the ground.
The only thing on the ground in early May is cherry blossom.

I spent the best part of 6 hours in the park and headed further North than I’ve ever been before – as far North as 96th Street.

The weather during my wanderings was fantastic, the best of my entire trip.

Exploring Central Park is great way to see the ‘real’ New York – the joggers, the dog walkers, the nannies in the play areas and the school children throwing a ball about.
You really have taken some fab photos. I really like the Imagine mosaic with the flowers. It’s lovely that in amongst the mad hurly burly world of New York there is this huge area of nature. Your photos really capture the atmosphere there.
