Mindful of the fact we don’t have a lot of storage space left to use, I’ve been thinking about this year’s scrapbooking goals. It’s a given that often times, scrapbooking is a kind of therapy for me, so there’s no way I’m ready (or want) to stop. I’ll continue with a year-long album, which usually becomes two 12×12 albums by the end of the year. I’ll be dispensing with a 12×12 album to record our holidays/travels and instead plan to make mini-books or use a traveler’s notebook.
I’ll be adding pages to The Boy Child’s album and to that of our great nephews. There’ll be a traveler’s notebook for my One Little Word. And I think that will be it.
What are your scrapbooking/crafting/creative plans for 2019?
As you know, I’m a lapsed scrapbooker but I do always make a photo book from any trip that we make, usually through Photobox. Can I pretend that’s a kind of digital scrapbooking? Other than that, I’ve got my sewing projects and not to mention two grandchildren to knit for! Although I’ve yet to knit anything for Leo, he’s more a sweatshirt or rugby shirt kind of boy. Loved making a couple of tiny hats for Rosie and hopefully she’ll need some little cardigans for the springtime!

I like your page – grid layouts are a favourite & yours is quite stylish; like the embellishments. Like you I am running out of storage for my 12X12 albums, although I must admit there has been a slow down in the number of pages for all the albums. This year’s garden album just might be able to host 2 years rather than 1 year. I have also been rethinking a lot about my scrapping style – I’ll probably be posting something next week about it.

I’ll look forward to reading that.

This year I’m planning to do lots of catch up with my scrapbooking – completing some past year’s chronological albums & working through some of our trip photos.
I’ve already gotten a good start – finished several layouts in the last week that I’ll be sharing soon.

A lot of us are dealing with the fact that those albums are taking over our spaces! And like you, it is therapeutic so stopping is not an option at this time! I just finished my January spread and I have a little surprise for you but I can’t share yet 😉
