Scrapping in 2018 #12

With everyone back into their post-Summer routines, there’s been space for me to build a spot of scrapbooking time back into the daylight hours.

First up was a classic back-to-school layout.thumbnail[3]I followed that up with a page capturing an early morning shot-from-the-bus stop.thumbnail[2] (2)I went back to a design by Shimelle from 2011 to make an interactive spread about our Northern Road Trip.thumbnail[1]thumbnail[2]

What have you been creating?

  1. Three great layouts. I like the little book of photos within the last layout. For me photos are always the star of any layout & I like how you blend the photos with all the perfect embellishments, nothing taking over centre stage of the photos. I like those crimped letters.

  2. I do love that interactive spread! And how lovely that the Boy will have all these amazing LOs of himself in years to come … I’ve been working on a handmade project too – nearly done!

  3. I’ve been doing some art journaling lately, but I have a friend coming over to scrapbook tomorrow. Really looking forward to a day cutting & pasting pretty paper.

Great layouts! The boy child has such a wonderful smile & the back to school page is great. I remember that Shimelle layout & it works so wonderfully for your Northern Road Trip photos!

  4. I haven’t done any scrapping for a whole year. I think I have been grieving, although I have only just realised it. Two years ago My cousin Colin died. He was the closest I had to a sibling and of all my cousins he was the closest. Then last year just a week before that anniversary my cousin Richard died. I haven’t scrapped since. Your pages have piqued my interest.
