Learn Something New Every Day |Days 26-30

September meant that the Season of mist and mellow fruitfulness was approaching. It also meant that Shimelle was running her annual class, Learn Something New Every Day.
Like last year, I’m recording what I’ve learned throughout September here.

Day 26: RSVPing ‘No’ to a wedding invitation is harder than it might seem.

Day 27: Obtaining an appointment to see the GP is difficult.

Day 28:  When the appointment with the GP has been secured, the system can then be really efficient.

Day 29: The Boy Child is capable of walking more than 10kms without complaint, as long as there’s a pizza thrown into the mix.

Day 30: When The Boy Child’s autism decides to make its presence felt, there’s no hiding from it.  For any  of us.

  1. Lots of lessons learnt this September! We’ve discovered too this month that the NHS can be excellent when all the pieces fall into place properly. Although appointment securing seems to remain a problem nationwide. 10km is a long way to walk, I think I’d need bribing with a pizza too! Sorry to hear that the end of the month ended on a not so happy note.

  2. Ouch – some not-so-pleasant lessons learned in the batch :(. But your photo is serene and a great reminder that whatever the stuff we have to deal with on a daily basis, Nature just carries on doing its thing …
