During the recent half-term, we nipped on a plane and flew for a mere 35 minutes to the beautiful island of Jersey.Far enough away to feel like ‘abroad’ and familiar enough to feel British. We stayed in the gorgeous St. Brelade’s Bay and our hotel over looked the beach. The beach is apparently in the top 3 of the UK’s best beaches and it’s easy to see why. This beautiful beach is one of island’s most popular, loved by visitors for its golden sand and safe swimming. There’s plenty to do, with family-friendly activities and water sports popular. For those times in between sand castle building or paddling in the English Channel, there are beach cafés and seaside restaurants, beach walks and plenty of sunbathing spots. We found that it was the perfect place to base ourselves for our stay. Enough on offer to fill the hours, but not enough to overwhelm us.
