Blog Review | 2016

And still I keep churning them out:
241 posts in 2016.
And still some of you are reading and commenting:
280,792 page views in the life of this blog, approximately.
{You won’t be surprised when I tell you that this post garnered the most comments in 2016}
{selfie attempt hijacked by The Boy Child}
I covered a wide range of topics, most notably grief and loss.
But in the mix were happier times: Bermuda, New York City and Rome.
Always there was my beloved scrapbooking: scrapbook pages, December Daily, travel journals.
{Never more so has scrapbooking been a form of therapy for me}
Plans for 2017 are in the same vein as last year.
  I’m planning blog breaks here and there, and will no longer be posting at the weekends.
There will be tales of travel,
there will be stories about The Boy Child,
there will be talk of pairing photos with pretty paper.
However this new year turns out,
I hope you’ll join me as I make my way through it.

  1. I most certainly will be there to see how 2017 unfolds for you all! What a lovely photo of the two of you, he's growing into quite the young man now isn't he? I'm sure there are lots of adventures ahead and I can't wait to hear all about them.

  2. I would be very sad if you stopped posting, Ruth, and am relieved you'll be continuing :). Though I am often late, I always read every post, and never fail to be moved, enthused or admiring. More power to your blogging elbow in 2017.

  3. I'm wishing you all the very best for 2017. I'll be here, catching up with whatever you are up to. I don't turn on my laptop as regularly as I used to, ad I'm spending more time on IG, but I do get here in the end! I nearly didn't come back myself after the end of the year: it seemed like a good place to stop. And yet..
