Monday has rolled around again, and that means it’s time to
join in with the lovely Sian and
share something that I’ve learnt over the weekend.
…
…
When the weather forecast for the Bank Holiday is shocking,
it’s best to look ahead to something that guarantees a smile or two.
Summer travels.
Part of the fun of travelling, for me, at any rate, is the preparation.
And let’s not forget factoring in travelling with The Boy Child.
Maps. Guide books. Travel journal.
Check. Check. Check.
You can see what Sian discovered over the weekend here.
Sounds like you have an exciting summer ahead and I agree, the forward planning is all part of the experience. Can't wait to see what that scrapbook looks like when it's all complete!

Oh wow, that looks wonderful! There can be as much joy in the anticipation and planning as the visit itself :).

Oh, yes! I love the planning. I'm always up for buying a Guide Book or two. This looks like a wonderful trip. For the first year in ages we haven't anything definite planned: we have no idea who is available to go when just yet.
Wishing you a good week. And thanks for the birthday wishes.

We just ordered some guide books here as well. We've been to Bermuda, of course, and hopefully Rome will be on the list in the next couple of years. Happy trip planning.
