Houston Zoo is well worth a visit and very competitively priced (certainly far cheaper than London Zoo).  They have a successful breeding program and at the time of our visit, there were loads of babies on view.  My favourite?  Annabelle, the baby Mandrill who was born on 29 November.

  1. I am a sucker for giraffes! We bought our little great niece a stuffed animal one for Christmas two years ago, and he takes up most of her room and is bigger than she. 😉

    And that new baby animal you featured is mighty cute.
