Blood Swept Lands

The Boy Child and I took the Tube to Tower Hill to see the Blood Swept Lands and Seas of Blood, an art installation in the moat of the Tower of London.
I feel that any words of mine will be inadequate, so I’m going to let the images tell their own story.

  1. I'm in awe of this piece if art and commemoration and am looking forward to see how it grows in coming months – I hadn't seen the piece flying over the bridge before

  2. I saw this on the news and it just blew me away. You are very lucky to have been able to stand there right in front of it. It's one of the most amazing installations I've ever seen

  3. We also got a lot of coverage of this amazing art in our news coverage. I think, when you see that each flower represents a loss, it really is a visual of what the war cost. Thanks for sharing your photos.

  4. Oh my goodness. That is spectacular. What an amazing project. When you think that every poppy is a life lost, so moving. Thanks for sharing your pictures.

  5. It is the fact of how large it is now and that there are still more to put out ready for November. Thank you for sharing. It is overwhelming
