Lazy Day of Summer

I’d like to tell you that The Brainy One and I enjoyed Day #1 of our The Boy Child-free-days by zipping around town, visiting all the galleries and exhibitions we’ve been meaning to visit for months.
But that would be a lie.
A big fat fib.
The reality was that we stayed close to home.
We watched three episodes of Breaking Bad back-to-back.
In the middle of the day.
While drinking tea and eating crisps.

 And cheesecake.

Late afternoon we walked down to the pub.

 For drinks in the garden

 And early supper.

And while today has been splendid in every way, I’m ready to do something with tomorrow and Thursday.
I have a plan.
