Here’s a look at five things from my week:
1) I’m trying to educate the educators.
2) I got the all clear on my last blood test. The iron tablets have done the trick, but I’m not allowed to give blood until January 2015, at the earliest.
3) I am, however, continuing with the newly-formed habit of a short rest after lunch. If the sun is shining, the best room to be in is The Boy Child’s playroom office.
4) The Boy Child’s school is celebrating World Book Day today. He is Thing 1 from Dr Seuss’ The Cat in the Hat.
5) Baking peanut butter cookies as an end of week treat (and then cleaning my new oven).
How does your Friday look?
What an excellent “Thing” he makes!
Good to hear the tablets have worked. I've said it before, but I'll keep on saying it cos I mean it: blood donors rock

I am making peanut butter cookies as well. We are prayer partners with 2 college guys going on a mission trip Sunday so I am fixing snacks packs for them. So glad the iron has one. TBC makes an adorable Thing 1 :0

Glad the iron has helped and you can give blood again. Great Thing 1 – hope he had fun and I'm glad you are educating the educators. Ambitious About Autism has some good teacher training courses too.

I'm so glad to hear that your iron levels are up, Ruth! And I'm also glad to know that you are enjoying an afternoon rest.
Your boy's Thing 1 costume is absolutely adorable! I hope he had a fun day wearing it.
Makes me happy every time I see that you are making peanut butter cookies! ♥
