Afternoon Tea

You know Afternoon Tea has been successful when you see off the last guest at 9.30pm.
It began as a spur of a moment thing to invite a new Danish/Norwegian family at school to tea.  Then we included the Dutch family, the family with the Uruguayan mum and a British family.
And our beloved Chelsea Pensioner friend.

There was also a spot of star-gazing, but I missed the opportunity to take photos.
I do so love that The Boy Child’s school is a bit like the United Nations.  The Brainy One and I get the chance to meet families from all corners of the world.

  1. How lovely to meet such a diverse crowd. My family is becoming a bit like that, my eldest D.I.L. is Japanese, and the latest is Gibraltarian.
