New Life

About half an hour ago, while The Boy Child (and his bike) and The Brainy One were out on the Common with the pooch, I decided to do a little post-supper weeding in the front flower bed.
The ground was rock hard, so weeding didn’t last long.
However, there was plenty of evidence of new growth, finally.

  1. Nowhere near as fast as yours, is the answer from up here! Our daffodils are only just coming out now and the clematis just starting to sprout leaves … Lovely Spring photos!

  2. Would you believe that we have been through spring and are heading to summer weather? Sigh. I wanted a longer spring, but alas, it was not meant to be. It's warm. Very warm. Not swimming pool warm quite yet (unless you're a Canadian), but warm.

The kind of warm that translates: I need to go pull weeds.

  3. So lovely to see some things blooming in London, Ruth! The flowers and plants are so pretty, and so different from what we have in Arizona. I love how you labeled the pampas “grass type thing.” ;o)
