Where do you dry laundry when the weather is rubbish and the clothes airer is full?

I have to hang them over radiators and it sucks. A couple of years ago I saw an advert for a big drying cupboard thing you can get in John Lewis. I even picked out a spot for it. Course, we don't have John Lewis and it was too dear anyway, but a girl can dream

On the rod that holds the shower curtain – through the whole of the summer too this year. I think I managed to get the washing onto the line outside about six times the whole summer.

On a rack in my laundry room. We have a skylight in there.
It's on the second floor of the house which I also like.
Ruth, is a clothes airer the same thing as a clothes dryer in America? I've not heard that term.
Hope you are well. I have been away from blogging for a bit, but hope to be back again when I get a new computer. There were house repairs that came first.
