Part ten of Miss Smith‘s Just One Sketch class ~ layering. Oh, how I hate layering. I always admire it on other people’s pages, but never on mine.
The good thing about this page is that I’ve been able to use a museum flyer, our bus tickets and the receipt from the coffee shop where The Boy Child and Granny were treated to coffee and cake.
Up next, a page without a photo …
It's great when you can use some of the memorabilia on layouts, this looks great – looking forward to seeing your page without a photo.

Yay for using leaflets and bus tickets!
You may not like to use layering, but the arrangement of layers on this page is very effective. I like that vertical stripe – it creates a lot of interest. And the rub-ons at the top are a great touch; so is the “scary” word!

Oh the layering is so hard – I cann't do it for the life of me! I think adding in the ephemera was a great way to add a layer!

What a lovely page Ruth. Love that you were able to use so much ephemera from you day out. Spectacular layering.
