December Daily: The 22nd

The one where the delivery of a Christmas card from this lovely young lady gave me much cause for thought.

 Journaling idea borrowed from Ali.

Thank you, Carrie.
And Elvis? With Santa on top of the TV.

  1. I love your journaling for this entry and I also really like how a simple sentence has changed how you feel about things … even if for a few days or moments.

Now I will return to the television to continue watching Jamie Oliver cook lovely Christmassy food … all of which, so far, would be far too hot to eat on Christmas Day which is forecast to be around 30C with very high humidity and storms!

  2. Lovely photo, lovely post.

I have tried to post this comment twice now, so I'm crossing my fingers it will take this time and wishing you all the very best for Christmas from all of us

  3. Aww…Ruth! I'm so glad that my card touched you like that, and your journaling is just wonderful. You have some gorgeous handwriting, as well! 😉

I have a quote on my wall that says, “Peace: it does not mean to be in a place where there is no noise, trouble, or hard work. It means to be in the midst of those things and still be calm in your heart.” I truly hope that you and your family find peace in this season and in 2012. ❤

  4. That's a lovely post Ruth, and indeed sometimes it is good to step back and gain perspective. Wishing a wonderful Christmas to you and your family, and an amazing year to come.
And thank you for the lovely comment on my last post. I was very touched. x
