Not long ago, when I was having a conversation about discipline with my Mum, she suggested removing what The Seven Year Old liked … I gently explained that it would never work because he would just head outside and play with sticks – he loved that equal to anything inside and grovy like lego!

I hope so too 🙂 The Girl still loves sticks – we have quite a colection by the door, where they're carefully stacked because they're not allowed in the house!
