Imagine my delight last night, when I saw an article about my Chelsea Pensioner friend in yesterday’s Sunday Times magazine. He had told me he’d been interviewed, but I’d forgotten all about it.
I am so lucky to have him as a friend and he says that he’s delighted that DS calls him Grandad Paddy. We’ll be seeing him next in early January.

Ruth have they published the old war songs, is it on the Internet, would love to even read the words as my grandfather and mother use to sing us these songs regularly.
