Today is the hottest day of the year; a very hot 31C here in West London. So why is the Common empty, when you could rightly expect it to be packed with families and sun worshippers?
Life in West London; married to The Brainy One; mum to The Boy Child.
This is where I share most aspects of my everyday life.
I hope you'll stay awhile.

Wow, how funny is that?! We managed to squeeze in a walk between the Grand Prix and the football, thank goodness!
I bet they're at the local drowning their sorrows now! We had the same sort of defeat at the the hands of Germany – we played terribly, but the loss was too great to overcome.
on Saturday there was a special picnic on Wimbledon Common. It was the Bookcrossing Christmas Picnic. Apparently everyone that attended said they had great fun. I suppose you have to pick your time on a common.
