LSNED ’09: Day 29

Today I learned that the Council behaved like Scrooge. It seems that the Council refused to lift the parking restrictions around the local area on Boxing Day, requiring vehicles to have the appropriate parking permit or the drivers of the said vehicles being prepared to pay the costly parking fees. And, I presume, it also meant that Parking Wardens would have had to be in work, in order to enforce the parking restrictions. Bah, humbug!
