Through The Viewfinder

Last week, Shimelle suggested, in a prompt from her Blogging For Scrapbookers class, that we should sometimes take a different view when attempting to photograph the ordinary and everyday. I have always struggled to photograph 12×12 LOs well, thinking that I had to showcase just the LO and nothing else. Now I know differently! In this image you can see an Autumn LO for our 2009 album positioned artistically on the mantelpiece, between a wedding photo and an ornament. And have you noticed that dinky little card? I received it this morning from Mel at I Speak Melsh, in response to the minibook I sent her when she won my last Pink Saturday GiveAway. The card is very sweet and I thank Mel for her kindness because it made my day!

  1. Aw, shucks 🙂 I now know exactly what you mean about how it feels strange to see something you made on someone else's blog lol!! Glad you like it, but it was the least I could do after you sent me my lovley prize 🙂

And I love your LO – I just adore autumnal photos! What is the green and white pp on the left please?
