Pink Saturday, The Royal Ballet

It’s that time of the week again: Pink Saturday. Thanks go again to Beverly at How Sweet The Sound for hosting and organising what must be becoming an enormous task! This week, I’m showcasing one of my former students at The Royal Ballet School.

I took this shot backstage at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden in 2003, during the school’s end of year performance. I love that she wasn’t aware of me lurking with my camera; I think the end result may have been completely different if she’d known.

  3. Good Morning, Ruth! I am late getting started on Pink Saturday, but I couldn't stay up late enough to start last night. My eyes closed early. LOL!

    Those ballerinas are SO pretty! Were you a dance teacher or a school teacher? Your little student is lovely.

  11. Lovely Pink Saturday post and sweet blog, too. Woke up to a dusting of snow on the ground so even thought this isn't Saturday I really needed a boost! Today you made me smile…

    Sorry, I didn't get to see everyone yesterday. I had important business. My 11 year-old grandson was playing football and he wanted Mimi to go to the out-of-town-last-of-the-season-game. THEY WON AGAINST AN UNDEFEATED TEAM! WOO-HOO! 35 – 17☺
